A semi-private basketweave cedar fence that lets light and air through while still screening the yard.
This basketweave fence weaves horizontal cedar boards between vertical supports for a semi-private look that reads the same from both sides of the fence. It's built from #1 grade 1x6 cedar boards, a wood that naturally resists rot and insects, so the woven boards hold their shape without the added upkeep of chemical treatment. The open weave lets light and air pass through while still limiting sightlines into the yard, and installation is recommended between posts with decorative posts and caps for a finished perimeter. It's available in heights from 3 to 8 feet, including 4.5 and 5-foot options, so the fence can run low for a decorative edge or tall for full privacy.
