Vinyl construction also means it will not rot, warp, corrode, or rust, so it needs no painting or staining to keep its finish. Vertical pickets are fastened onto the horizontal rails using a notching method that locks them in place and keeps them from pulling loose over time, and the rails fit into square posts for a clean, consistent line across the fence.
